Vinification The grapes for our Riesling were left on the vines until October 30th to develop concentrated flavours and balanced acidity.
2006 was an abundant vintage with a long warm ideal growing season.
Acid levels were slightly higher than previous years so look for these wines to pair very well with a variety of cuisine.
Winemaking We used only the purest free-run juice and allowed the wine a long, cool fermentation to maintain its intense flavours and aromas.
Aroma / Bouquet / Nose This wine displays a fresh, bright aroma of apple and melon along with crisp citrus notes. Our Riesling bursts with fresh apple, melon and lime flavours and has a clean fresh finish.
Food and Wine Pairing Enjoy this wine with quiches, salads, asparagus, stir-fried vegetables and noodles, flavourful cheeses, fruit dishes and all types of Asian-influenced cuisine.
Alternatively, it pairs very well with a medium bodied cheese & antipasto plate.
